The Santa Fe International Film Festival, now an Academy Award®-qualifying film festival, is a spectacular event for film enthusiasts and industry professionals alike, October 15-20, 2025. Boasting more than 160 new films and more than 150 visiting filmmakers and industry members, the festival will present an outstanding selection of independent and international films. Filmmakers and moviegoers can anticipate special receptions, industry panels, and discussions with film professionals throughout downtown Santa Fe and its Railyard district. Each October, SFiFF's premiere film program includes international films, American independent films, Indigenous films, New Mexico films, special presentations, and more than 100 short films. Recent festival awardees include Bryan Cranston, Sterlin Harjo, Oliver Stone, Catherine Hardwicke, Tantoo Cardinal, and Godfrey Reggio. SFiFF’s six days of cinema and special events take place in Santa Fe’s magnificent theaters and popular downtown restaurants, local museums, and inspiring art galleries.
