“11 UP: The Way of the Artist, 11 Short films – 30 Years of Cinematic Exploration by Michael W. Barnard” is a feature-length selection of the many short films Barnard has made showcasing a wide variety of artists over the decades. As well as being a highly experienced, award-winning filmmaker, Barnard has also maintained his own lifelong fine arts practice, thus bringing to these cinematic explorations an artist’s eye and sensibility, offering an unusually intimate and nuanced perspective.
